Our tips and tricks for getting the most out of your time in Philadelphia:

1. We highly recommend taking the Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour – it’s a great way to orient yourself to the city. Be sure to hop-off at the Philadelphia Art Museum stop, walk around the to the back of the building, and take a walk or jog up the famous “Rocky Steps” (don’t worry, they aren’t as long or high as they look in the movie!).
2. Plan to spend at least 1-2 days soaking in the history of Old City Philadelphia. Arrive early at the Liberty Bell and grab a timeslot for the Independence Hall Tour (both are free, but often have long lines). From here, you are within walking distance to so many attractions of historical significance: The Constitution Center, Betsy Ross House, Philly Hub and the National Liberty Museum, to name just a few choices on the FlexPass.
3. While touring Old Town, be sure to stop in and take a quick look around the famous Christ Church – where America’s Founding Father’s worshiped and which still holds services today. Directly across the street you’ll find Campos – our pick for the best Cheesesteak in town!
4. Speaking of eating – Downtown Philadelphia has a unique food scene. You’ll find no shortage of excellent restaurants, many of which are BYOB. When you make a reservation, or before you sit down, be sure and ask if you need to pop to the closest “package” store to purchase your adult beverage of choice.
